Position Overview

BayCare Medical Group, the largest and most respected physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking a BE/BC  Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a growing practice based on the campus of St. Anthony's Hospital located in St. Petersburg, Florida.      

 

We're looking for a team-oriented, forward-thinking physician dedicated to enhancing the patient experience with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.  

 

Some highlights of this exciting opportunity include:

 

  • Join an established, busy practice with three experienced physicians.  This is a new position to help meet the overwhelming need in St. Petersburg and surrounding communities. 
  • Rotation of call includes coverage at one hospital, shared equally 1:4.  
  • One office location, within a large multi-specialty building on the campus of St. Anthony's Hospital, a 400-bed facility.
  • On-site Radiation Oncology along with many other specialists to collaborate with.  Additional on-site services include an infusion suite, clinical laboratory, and imaging suite. 
  • There is a large primary care referral base, and many sub-specialists within the group to receive referrals from and refer to. 
  • The ideal candidate will have an interest in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, seeing a variety of patients.

Qualifications

Position requires: Board Eligibility or Board Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology.  The ability to obtain a Florida Medical License.
