Position Overview

At BayCare Medical Group, we are committed to transforming cardiovascular care through innovation, expertise, and a patient-focused approach. As our team grows, we’re seeking a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist to join our busy practice at Mease Countryside Hospital in picturesque Safety Harbor and North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey.   As a member of our team, you will work alongside a well-established and collegial group of z4 cardiologists including 6 interventioal cardiologists, and 16 advanced practice providers (APPs) in a culture that fosters collaboration and provides excellent high-volume patient care.

Responsbilities include:

  • Perform state-of-the-art catheter-based procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, and valvuloplasty.

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions using advanced imaging techniques.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans.

  • Provide compassionate pre- and post-procedure care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in interventional cardiology to continually enhance patient care.

Qualifications

Qualifications include: 

  • A Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

  • Board certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.

  • Completion of a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.

  • Proven experience in performing complex interventional procedures.

  • Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Florida Medical License
