BayCare Medical Group is actively recruiting for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Rheumatologist to join our specialty clinic located on the campus of St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida.  

Highlights of this opportunity include:

• Join an established, busy Pharmacy Specialty Clinic working alongside one Rheumatologist and one Nurse Practitioner.

• See patients in the outpatient setting, in addition to hospital consults.

• There are various on-site specialties and ancillary services including a clinical laboratory and imaging suite.

• Collaboration with other BayCare Medical Group Rheumatology colleagues.

About the Pharmacy Specialty Clinic:
The Pharmacy Specialty Clinic is a hospital-based clinic that serves BayCare team members with BayCare insurance and their adult dependents, as well as community patients with rheumatological diseases. The interdisciplinary team includes Endocrinologist, Rheumatologist, Nurse Practitioner, a pharmacist, medical residents who consistently rotate through, and a specialty medication coordinator who manages prior authorizations and collaborates with BayCare HomeCare Pharmacy for medication deliveries. Plan members on certain medications can receive free appointments, medications, supplies, and durable medical equipment (DME), reducing barriers to care and improving patient outcomes.

• Board Eligibility or Board Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Rheumatology.
• Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.  
• Dedication to providing exceptional patient-centered care and a passion for improving the health and well-being of patients with endocrine disorders.
